Our chamber ensemble “Music for the Future” marked the opening of the 12th EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR) Forum. 

The event focused on the symbiosis of the talents of young Ukrainian musicians who, through the “Music for the Future” project, have found refuge in Slovenia and their Slovenian peers. Together they joined forces in the framework of the musical and educational activities offered by the Slovenian Youth Orchestra (SMO). This unique fusion of talents came to the fore at the EUSDR. The chamber ensemble, featuring both Ukrainian and Slovenian musicians, presented an outstanding musical programme. The highlight of the evening was the performance of the European anthem in Ukrainian, performed by Marina Dolibets. 

The conductor’s baton and artistic direction was provided by the renowned Živa Ploj Peršuh.
