Evacuation of musicians from Ukraine

Russia’s military invasion of Ukraine started on February 24. Eleven days later, on March 7, the first wave of evacuated musicians and their relatives arrived in Ljubljana. The Music for the future project was established. Our goal was to move Ukrainianmusicians with their families to a safe environment where they can continue their lives, their general and musical education. We provided assistance in evacuation from Ukraine, first humanitarian aid, as well as accommodation, opportunities for personal musical practice, master classes, concert activities.
