A chance to be part of change
Throughout the week, young musicians will prepare for the grand performance of The Peace Child Musical at Križanke, Ljubljana, as part of the prestigious Ljubljana Festival. We are also working towards a special opportunity for selected musicians to perform in New York at the UN Headquarters on 24 October 2025, as part of the 80th Anniversary of the United Nations. While this performance is our goal, its realisation depends on securing the necessary funding and support.

Recipe for Success

About Peace Child Week

At the heart of Peace Child Week is The Peace Child Musical, a powerful story by David Gordon and Yusuf/Cat Stevens about young people breaking the cycle of conflict through dialogue and collaboration. Set in an imaginary war-torn world, this musical uses music, theatre, and movement to convey a hopeful message—that the next generation holds the key to a peaceful future.

This vision aligns with the Declaration on Future Generations, a call for responsible global leadership that places youth at the forefront of creating a better world. During the camp, participants will engage in workshops exploring UN themes, gaining insights into diplomacy, cooperation, and sustainability.
