CHARITY CONCERT OF YOUNG MUSICIANS FROM UKRAINE & SLOVENIA WITH WORLD-FAMOUS VIOLINIST GIDON KREMER.
THE PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED BY UNICEF TO HELP CHILDREN AND FAMILIES FROM UKRAINE.
Tickets are already on sale / at Cankarjev dom, Ljubljana.
On 11 May, musical talents from Ukraine, together with young musicians from Slovenia under the auspices of the Slovenian Youth Orchestra and united in the Music for the Future Orchestra, will perform at Cankarjev dom.
Before, during and after the event, in cooperation with UNICEF Slovenia, donations will be collected to help participating musicians and their families from Ukraine and for UNICEF assistance programs for children and families from Ukraine.
The headliner of the concert is Gidon Kremer, one of the most admired musicians on the planet has delivered huge gifts to the music-loving community for over five decades. He was always connected to Ukrainian culture in many ways: with numerous collaborations, by playing and promoting pieces of ukrainian composers and last, but not least he was always supportive to young musicians and keep this strategy still.
